German, Ohio Speed Traps
Ballentine-Pike Road near German/Pike Township Line
About a quarter mile east of the township line, just outside the town of Phoneton, a German Township officer sits on the left side of the road on private property in a yard. I’ve seen the car there numerous times with noone inside. Today I was coming through when I noticed the car and let off the gas. When I looked at the speedometer I was doing 57 mph so I resumed driving by. He whipped out and caught up to me near the 4 way stop and told me he clocked me doing 67 in a 55, and that I hit my brakes to slow down, then punched the gas again instead. I didn’t argue with him as I didn’t need to make matters worse. I’ll do that in court in a few days. Seems like some sort of entrapment or profiling to me. P.S. watch out in German Township in General, especially on St. Rt. 41 from North Hampton to Springfield. If ya don’t believe me….see North Hampton traps, as German Township patrols this when the local is off duty.
Route 41 in Clark County
I’m just curious as to why the only people I ever see pulled over are minorties? Very interesting.
