Milford, Ohio Speed Traps
State Route 28 & Service Dr.
Police sit in the parking lot of the old Yellow Rose of Texas. Looking for cars coming south on State Route 28 into Milford.
U.S. Hwy. 50 (Lila Ave.) Just East of 6-way Intersection
Cops sit in barbershop lot running radar at night. (Are private property owners aware of this or giving permission?) Questionable speed measurement is possible. Posted 25mph on this 4 lane road!
South Milford Road near Terrace Park Country Club Area
It is set up where the road turns 90 degrees left at Terrace Park Country Club and less than 1/2 mile further on the road across from the school.
28 Bypass near Wolfpen overpass
When traveling on St Route 28 bypass heading south an officer cleverly sits on the Wolfpen overpass (aprox. 1/2 mile north of I-275) behind some bushes and clocks motorists speeding by, about 1/4 mile later an officer is sitting in the grass as the road begins to curve to the right. You cannot see the officer until it is too late but you’ve already been clocked by the first officer on the overpass anyway so it doesn’t really matter. The speed limit is 55MPH but typically people do 60-65MPH in this area. Be careful to watch your speed.
Main Street near Sycamore Street
A cop can sometimes be found late at night sitting at the Marathon gas station, clocking drivers on Main St. in downtown Milford. They rarely have their marker lights on. The speed limit is only 25MPH, so be careful.
