Milford, Ohio Speed Traps
There is a gray house near the intersection of Lila Ave. (Rt. 50) and Cemetary Rd. that is actually a police office. They often sit up in the driveway, or are frequently in the area. The speed limit here is only 25 MPH even though traffic is usually faster (and still safe). Also, the Milford Police station is at the corner of Rt. 50, Rt. 28 and Center St. Their cars are all lined up out front, ready to take off in pursuit. Sometimes they are monitoring traffic, other times it is just a decoy. So be careful regaurdless when going through that intersection. It is only 25 MPH also.
Milford Police Officers watch this section of the interstate and generally allow 12 MPH over the limit of 65 MPH. Ohio State Highway Patrol also watch this area as well as the rest of I-275 and allow 9 MPH over the limit.
