Mogadore, Ohio Speed Traps

around 12:00 in the evening after picking my son up from work at Walgreens, we were driving home via Mogadore Rd. The road was clear and dry with very little traffic. I drove up the hill (yes I accelerated, had to, to get up the hill) At the top/crest of the hill I slowed down, before Marion St. (1st street by hill crest on Mogadore Rd.) My slowing down was not fast enough! 2 cop cars pulled me over and even went through the car with their flash lights! Wow! Then I was ticketed for speeding. $100 I feel abused cheated and stalked. A Big Time Speed Trap! I went to court to contest it but sat through a township hearing that mentioned how the "monies were being divvied up and that no one had been able to contest the outcome of their tickets. Scary! I asked the cashier how many tickets were given at the crest of Mogadore Rd. before Marion and she called in 2 cops and then told me that was classified material! So much for our freedom of information and right to fight unfair government! I paid the money under duress and the threat of pending jail time along with futher police brutality by Mogadore, Summit Co., Ohio cops. Abuse of police powers and intimidation and refusal to public records/information all appear to be mode of operations to these Mogadore cops…So Beware!
