New Franklin, Ohio Speed Traps

New Franklin sits in wait in the old Clinton School parking lot waiting for unsuspecting motorists traveling north on Cleveland-Massillon through Clinton. This road has a few different names: Cleve-Mass. Rd, Erie Ave. NW, and Van Buren Road. The speed limit drops from 45 to 35 to 25 in rapid succession in both directions.

Police will sit in the church parking lot across from the cemetery (just north of the golf course) and use radar for both north & south bound traffic on Cleveland-Massillon Rd. Speed limit is 45 MPH.

New Franklin Police and OSP will often sit in the Apple Creek Bank parking lot and shoot RADAR southbound on State Route 93 (Manchester Road)… This is a 45 MPH zone.
