North Canton, Ohio Speed Traps

During the school hours they are always there, either on one end of the school or the other, but most likely going east on Easton right by Clearmount school. Every single day someone gets pulled over.
It’s all good because it’s all for the kids, just be carefull.

They sit in the baseball field parking lot. I see them there at any time of the day 2-3 times a week.

North Canton PD will sit just North of K-Mart (by Getz’s autobody) and again on Applegrove between Main St and Pittsburgh Ave. They’re in both places usually 3 times per week. 35mph firm.

Police sit in many private driveways and on side streets from Main St to the North Canton corp limit. They especially watch for drivers coming down the hill from Main St (eastbound) to catch them going over the 25 mph speed limit. You need to use your brakes constantly on this hill to maintain the speed limit.

This is a horrible speed trap. The speed limit is posted at 35 which is ok, but then it goes down to a ridiculous 25 miles an hour because of the allotment next to the road that is home to half million dollar houses. The police typically hide in the church parking lot, or sometimes they just drive up and down the street. BEWARE!
