Officer parks in a shaded area off of the street. He is parked looking south and is looking at north bound traffic headed down a hill. This is a 25 MPH area and it’s easy to go 40 MPH.
Shroyer Road near Beer Drive Thru
cop sits in a apt driveway in the middle of shroyer road on the oakwood side and gets lots of folks the high time is near the end of the month. be careful their tickets are big money. small city big money.
Interstate 271 / 480 near Exit Number 23
I-480 westbound, at the I-271 merge. As you curve onto I-271, you enter Oakwood Village. You don’t see the police car until you’re around the corner! Also, a cruiser may sit at the first bridge, hidden by the concrete wall protecting the bridge posts. The speed limit drops from 65 to 60. Speed limits are well marked, and the ticket is yours if you’re caught not slowing down!
Far Hills Road (State Route 48)
As a former resident of Oakwood, the approximately 2 mile stretch of Far Hills that goes through the town (a suburb of Dayton) is heavily watched by the local police, they are always pulling people over, especially folks in beat up cars.
Rt 14 west or I-271/480 (the four lane section)
If you are exit I-271/480 southeast of Cleveland onto Route 14 at exit 23 you and go west on Route 14 there is a four lane section of road. The speed limit on the four lane section is 25 mph. This section of road is probably about a mile long and then it becomes a two lane road with a 35 mph speed limit. There are police cars sit in any of the many parking lots in this industrial area. Be especially careful during rush hour.
