The police like to sit at the drive-thru at this intersection.
When traffic is light, they nail drivers for exceeding the speed limit to the west of the light as the village extended the 35 mph limit several hundred feet. Beware when approaching from Milford and when leaving town to the west.
One of the cops told me that when the daily afternoon traffic backs up, they run plate numbers looking for suspended licenses.

When approaching from east side of town:
The cops sit at a pull-off partially obscured by a house close to the road. It is just past the 35 mph speed limit sign and pizza place on the right coming into town.

At the old elementary school, the 20 mph school speed limits flash daily. Even though there is no longer a district school in the building, it is used for a pre-school. Cops watch this area like hawks.
Also, late at night, they park just on the far side of the building and watch for people running the stop sign on 132 and for cars exceeding the speed limit coming into town on 276.
