Toledo, Ohio Speed Traps
I-475 and Douglas Rd
Heads up to everyone traveling on I-475 once you get pass the Secor exit on I-475 (Speed Limit is 60), when coming up to the overhead bridge for Douglas on I-475, there is a office that sits under the overpass and you can not see him either, He sits on the left hand side, be careful when going through this area. I have in the last 30 days received 2 speeding tickets traveling this way. Make sure you stay around 65 as the speed limit is 60 and if you hit 70mph and he sees you it is guaranteed a speeding ticket.
I-75/I-475 NB
This is an Automated system (camera) that you don’t see. Once the speed drops to 50 mph i would suggest dropping to at least 55 mph. From this location all the way along I75 through Toledo there are speed cameras.
I-280 & E Central Ave
Received electronic speed violation (picture ticket) on southbound I-280 near Central Ave. on 6/6/18. Uncertain if it was officer with radar gun and camera or automated system installed on overpass. Did not see any fixed equipment on overpass or near it while raveling back on northbound I-280 the following day. Maybe a mobile unit/officer setup. WAZE app never alerted me of speed camera or police making me believe it was a mobile/temp speed trap scenario.
