Wadsworth, Ohio Speed Traps

The Fifties are out in high enforcement mostly during the morning rush hour, they sit along 94 most of the time in the oil change parking lot clocking speeders. Its 25mph along 94 between Walmart and the BP gas station stretch of road, be extremely careful. They also get really petty on other tickets they can give you such as tinted windows, and turn signals use. I work right off 94 and watch them pull people over all day, good luck and may God be with you when you go through Wadsworth because you’ll need it! I’ve never gotten a ticket due to the fact I am aware of their tactics, but I’ve been hassled about my windows being too dark (20 percent). Its amazing who they give a gun and a badge these days!

When going south on 94, you’ll go around 2 curves heading into the business district. On the second curve, watch out. Cops sit in a parking lot and clock you around the curve. They also sit up farther at times in the 25MPH zone.

Going northbound on 57, at wall rd the speed limit drops from 55 to 50 when entering city limits. A sheriff will radar the northbound traffic in the 55 zone and a Wadsworth cop will radar the southbound traffic in the 50 zone. CAUTION: this is a flat and straight road surrounded by fields. It’s very easy to go 65 instead of 55 or 50. I see someone pulled over almost every night!

the cruiser will sit on the other side of apple bee’s a couple houses down so it can get cars that come around the curve. the speed limit will go from 35 to 25 very fast.
