Aurora, Ontario Speed Traps

In the mornings, cop will park on a residential road just off Yonge Street, just south of Industrial Parkway. Careful if you are driving northbound as the cop parks just far enough back on that residential road that you can’t see them until its too late.

Trap set up right on the SW corner & targets eastbound traffic (50 kph).

Trap is set up at Steeplechase Ave behind the mailboxes and targets westbound taffic. Posted is 80 kph just east of Bayview Ave but drops to 60 kph. Two lane becomes one and may motivate drivers to accelerate to merge but they’re there waiting for you.

Preston Lake speed trap. Just before trap posted is 80 kph but drops to 60 kph just east of Warden Ave before the intersection and will usually target westbound traffic. Laser Tripod is set up at Lakeview Ave. Slow right down. Lately it seems like they’re there every other day.

They are targeting eastbound traffic on the weekends and through the week they sit up on the hill on the east side of the school hidden — monitoring traffic going east and west on Wellington St.
