Anne Street near Cundles Avenue
Police Officer likes to sit inside the public school parking lot and catch people just as they reach the top of the hill south of Cundles on the West side of the road
Essa Road near Between Anne & Innisfil Streets Street
This is a straight & flat section once you pass the intersection where there is a car dealership at the Innisfil St/Essa Rd intersection, until you get to the Anne St. lights, where the police are. No stop signs or lights in between. The police sit on the side streets on either side of Dunlop St W and wait. Usually after 7pm until the bars are let out.
Big Bay Point Road near East of the Firehall
car sits anywhere between the fire hall and bridge usually on north side of the road with radar gun. the limit was just raised to 50 so now they really get you at 60.
North Ferndale Drive near City Dump Entrance
PD sit in the entrance to the city dump and can catch you as you come over the NB hill or down the SB hill. Especially effective in the winter due to the snow banks which hide them.
Yonge Street near Big Bay Point Road
Sits in Gas Station north or south of Big Bay Point Road.
Normally in a dark coloured unmarked car. This is one of the paid duties for an officer on his day off thats all he will do is write speeding tickets all day long, no other calls unless a bad traffic accident if he’s needed for traffic control.
