London, Ontario Speed Traps
Sarnia Road
Radar on Sarnia Rd going east from Wonderland Rd.towards Western Rd
Oxford Street near Hyde Park Road
As you Drive East on Oxford (past Hyde Park) there is a small hill after the High School. As you come down that hill you get nailed by cruisers sitting in a parking lot on the right. Limit is 60kph at that point and you get stopped just short of Wonderland before the train tracks (there is a cruiser sitting there on a side street (Laurel St))
Oxford Street near Maitland Street
The speed limit is 50km and they are catching speeders heading west on Oxford St. This is a regular location, and I have seen police there many times and I received a 67km/hr ticket with out deduction.
401 Expressway near Exit Number 199
Laser tripod on overpass (Dorchester Rd Exit) at least twice per month. Won’t get me though.
Wonderland Road near Springbank Drive
Quite often the police sit south of the Guy Lombardo bridge, in the parking lot, waiting to catch people. They seem to focus on those going south, between Riverside and Springbank, although occasionally they have a partner waiting at the Riverside/Wonderland intersection to catch those going North.
