Adelaide North Street near Commissioners Road

London, OntarioSep 20, 20070 Comments

As you go north on Adelaide St. where id begins at Commissioners Road there is a nice bend in the road as it approached Princess Elizabeth school at Westminster Drive. The speed limit is 50km/h but the road is so smooth and the 2 lanes on each side are normally clear so it feels safe to go 70km/h. The police will have a tripod set up and nail you just as you come into sight coming around the bend. You will then be flagged to pull over by an officer on foot.

Dekker Drive near Colonel Talbot Road

London, OntarioSep 20, 20070 Comments

Either the blue Taurus speed enforcement police car (no lights on top) or a radar mounted on a tripod are deployed here. Dekker is a country road with a speed limit of 60km/h. After traveling on Colonel Talbot doing 80 or 90, 60 seems sooooo sloooow. On the other side of Dekker you turn on to/off of Wonderland Road where the speed limit is 80km/h. They nail people left and right on Dekker Drive.
