Mississauga, Ontario Speed Traps

Just saw a cop parked today on a private driveway on Meadowvale Blvd between Syntex Drive but not passing West Credit Road. There is a hill going down Meadowvale Blvd where you speed up "naturally" when you pass the General Electric office.

The limit is 60km/h.

As you drive East on Dixon Road and approach 655 there is a slope so usually cars tend to drive fast. 655 is a hotel. So, the police are right there at the entrance, unseen. I have seen them many times catching lots of people. So be careful!

Just saw two Peel police cars at that intersection doing speed traps on the gravel shoulder. The limit is 50km/h

Heading east on Eglinton and the bottom of the hill, just after exiting off the 410. Watch for cops at the corner across the gas station. They usually get people coming off the highway, but I’ve see them hitting Tomken traffic as well.

Eastbound on South Service, just past Dixie, before it merges with QEW. This is almost like a long ramp to the highway, but there are houses on the south side, so I suppose the cops are protecting the residents. The cops are there quite often, sometimes 3 days in a row. Occasionaly, they will hang out just before South Service merges with the highway, just as you start picking up speed. Mean!
