Highway #2 Road near Stephenson Road
On highway #2 just east (uphill) of the arched overhead CP train bridge (this bridge is known locally as " The Hole in the Wall ")
Durham region police face their radar mainly uphill, catching those coming out of an 80 into a 60 kph zone going down a huge hill. They, however, have been known to face their radar downhill toward the arched opening. Drivers going uphill through the opening (speeding up to get up the hill) can’t see the trap because the arch is very narrow and at the bottom of the hill.
State Highway 35/115 near 3rd Concession Crossing
In the Southbound lanes of the 35/115 hwy just past the 3rd Concession (past a lighted section of the 35/115 hwy where there are gas stations and restaurants). The OPP cruisers sit on right side of the hwy on a down hill right hand curve. With the trees lining the right side of the hwy the cruisers are hard to spot and by the time you see them they already have you on the Radar.
