50 km/h speed zone at Albion Rd across Humber River ravine just west of Weston Rd, both directions. In the last month spotted a trap 2 times Eastbound traffic, once Westbound.

Kipling Avenue, 150m south of Burnhamthorpe Road

Toronto, OntarioAug 12, 20110 Comments

The cop usually parks in some side streets (forgot which one) but usually they target SB traffic on Kipling Avenue, no more than 150m south of Burnhamthorpe Road. The limit is 50km/h

Bayview Ave., NORTHBOUND BETWEEN CUMMER AND STEELES.

Toronto, OntarioAug 06, 20110 Comments

Radar is set up at bottom of hill in front of seminary and school.Speed limit changes from 60 to 50 at Cummer and unless you brake or gear down you will be over speed limit at bottom of hill

Bloor Viaduct Bridge

Toronto, OntarioApr 25, 20110 Comments

Both east and west ends of the bridge are notorious hiding spots for Metro’s finest. At the east end they park the cruisers in the school driveway out of sight and set up a tripod mounted laser camera on the sidewalk. Easy pickins for drivers trying to pass in order to enter the DVP ramp or to get into through lanes eastbound.

Yonge Street

Toronto, OntarioApr 02, 20110 Comments

Driving north on Yonge St. from Lakeshore up to Holland Landing. The cops are usually hiding along the way to catch anybody speeding. It’s basically a cash cow for the city so they can justify making $65/hr doing nothing. Since the crime rate is so low (no guns, no drugs, no murders and no gangs), the cops have extra time to give out tickets.
