Huron Church Road various locations

Windsor, OntarioMar 12, 20100 Comments

Huron Church links Ontario’s Hwy. 401 with the Ambassador Bridge leading to the USA. This is a “community safety zone” so fines are doubled. The speed limit is 60 km/h and it’s easy to catch drivers who have been cruising along on the 401 or the Interstates for hours now suddenly having to adjust to city driving. Officers use unmarked vehicles – cars and pick-up trucks – as well as bikes in season clocking traffic from a stationary position. The more frequent locations are: the left turn lane at the turn around loop between Cabana and Pulford; NB left turn lane at Pulford or from EB Pulford monitoring SB Huron Church; (These three locations are seldom used by traffic, so they can sit there and it just looks like they are waiting to make a turn). The driveway of the Ontario Public Health Laboratory on the east side of the road north of Cabana; the business parking lots located on the west side of the road just south of the E.C.Row Expressway; the motel and business parking lots (both sides) north of Industrial Drive; the intersections of Millen St and Giradot St(the second and third streets after exiting the bridge) Remember Windsor is located south of Detroit so NB Huron Church is heading towards the bridge not away from it.
