Motorcycle Cops lay in wait near Royal & Baxter. They are just waiting for idiot drivers who are too stupid and ignorant to lawfully SLOW DOWN in a SCHOOL ZONE

Just after passing Beltline heading westbound on W11th Ave traffic tends to speed up from the 45mph limit, as the road will soon become Hwy 126W heading to Florence. An officer is often sitting off the road just before the limit changes to 55mph, and will cite people who are speeding up prematurely. Be aware, this is a highly common spot for EPD to be sitting.

Going west on 31st from Spring Blvd. to Hilyard is a very steep four lane road that is posted at 35 mph. It is difficult to maintain a lawful speed and police are hiding at most every intersection. I have seen many people pulled over in this area.

A motorcycle cop sometimes waits for southbound drivers at the one block of northbound Patterson St. just as it curves at 23rd to join with the Hilyard/24th intersection. The most common time I have seen the cop is during the South Eugene High School lunch break (11:30AM-1PM). This area could be a school zone, but I’m not positive.
