I-83, southbound

Fairview, PennsylvaniaJan 24, 20030 Comments

There are 4 places where state police regularly sit. First is several hundred yards after the speed limit goes from 55 to 65 near Reeser’s Summit. There is a hidden pull off area where police can sit back until it’s too late to slow down. Most of the time he is there on weekends. Second spot is right after the bridge over I-83 at the Fishing Creek exit. Perfect hiding place because the car is totally hidden by the concrete of the overpass. Third is a spot between the Fishing Creek exit and the next exit which is one a mile or so down the road. They sit is a spot where they can get you as you go over the rise in the road. The Fourth spot is on the exit ramp of the Weigh Station between the Lewisberry and Yokumtown exits. The exit is sloped downward and they sit in such a way they are almost invisible until it’s too late.
