Southampton, Pennsylvania Speed Traps

Upper Southampton Twp Police sit in the middle of Street Road near the intersection of Gravel Hill Road.
This is usually in the hours of 7am to 9am.
In the heat of rush hour the speed limit is 45mph but that is dumb.
It should be 50mph at least. This is a main road through a area where really no one should be walking across a hwy. It is very rural on this part of road where they sit.
Oh yes the police station is .5 mile down the road this a very easy for them to set up shop there.

Be Very Careful Don’t speed there They will get You

The police sit on the side roads off of Buck Road (between County Line Road and Street Road) just far back enough so that you can’t see them. The posted speed limit is 25 MPH, which is ridiculously low, and nobody goes that slowly. No wonder they keep coming back.

Tries to trap students from CHI Institute. They always get people speeding out of there down New Road. Mostly during the daytime hours but night sometimes as well. Don’t speed here unless you want a ticket….
