North Providence, Rhode Island Speed Traps
The cops park on one of the side streets, like Dakota St. or one of the other dead end streets in the area….the posted speed limit is 25 mph going downhill, it’s hard to go 25 unless you have your brakes on! Be careful!!!
This low to moderately low traveled road has no stop signs, or red lights. Coasting, most people average 35-40mph, and 30 is posted. There is a 75-90 degree bend in the road, where there’s a large brick factory, and they sit right there where you don’t see them until its too late. The other spot is a street/parking lot for an Oil company, they are obstructed by the building and you won’t spot them until they got you.
They park on the side of the f.o.p. club
North Providence Police park in the Geneva Diner parking lot or in the entrance to the old Geneva Mill across the street and catch drivers going downhill from either direction where is hard to maintain the 25 MPH Speed Limit.
