Warwick, Rhode Island Speed Traps

Cowesett road is a 2 lane road that is traveled heavily during the day and early evening. The speed limit is 25 mph. Favorite spots for setting up are Edmond Drive, the driveway at fire station 5 and the rear entrance to the YMCA. This is fact because I am a retired traffic cop from that city.

They sit about hundred feet in from the intersection of Church and Warwick Avenue. Church Avenue is 30 MPH and the posted sign is about 200 ft after the trap.

Across from Tidewater Drive they sit in the old Grange parking lot, far enough back so you can’t see them coming one way, and behind a huge stockade fence coming from the airport way. I live over there and they’re there every single day.

Cruiser sits at the carwash before Shaws and clocks speeders.

Right next to the Burger King on West Shore Road they hide in the car auto sales lot and try to blend in with the cars so you don’t notice.
