2100 N Road near Point Meadow Park/Library

Lehi, UtahMay 28, 20080 Comments

This is a wide highway-like road that passes a local sod farm and several large empty pastures in an obscure fringe area of Lehi. It has broad painted lanes and inconveniently located speed limit signs which makes it not difficult to overlook the posted speed(25). Traffic police frequently park off road across the street south of the library. They are far enough off the road that it is often difficult to spot them behind the tall weeds and an old fence. Several officers also live in the neighborhoods to the west of this spot who frequently transit this road and have been known to pull speeders over on their way to and from home during normal duty hours. I have also witnessed several stop sign stings with plain clothed officers staked out at the top of the rail crossing a block west of this speed trap. Traveler beware.
