288 Loop near State Highway 380
Traveling south on Loop 288, approaching Highway 380, there are several of the bright orange and black signs notifying of construction ahead. None of these have a reduced speed limit. However, just before cresting the overpass that carries traffic over the state highway there is a standard black and white sign. This reduces the speed limit from 60mph to 40mph at a point where simply lifting your foot off the gas, without applying the brake, almost ensures a speed 15 to 20mph over the limit as you crest the overpass into the radar.
