441 Bypass
Although this area appears rural, it quickly goes from 55 to 45 as you approach 441 from the east. They love to catch you on this stretch of road.

Whether we like it or not, the signs are posted for the reduction of speed ahead; it's a matter of restraint on the accelerator and observing the odometer. Crashes at the intersections are deadly. Thankfully you and I are still around to disagree. Blessings
Wrong answer, the speed limit was set there when the bypass was open before any wrecks had occurred. Besides, if you are going to make one intersection 45 mph for safety reasons, you would have done so at the intersection where the Elementary School is located: more traffic and a much more limited field of vision.
This "reduction of speed" is for one purpose only: money.
