While working in a convience store in Grundy,(more than 100 miles away) a man in service had commented he had gotten a speeding ticket in this location, i commented i had recieved one also, two people standing there had also been ticketed for speeding in this area.
The road is very scenic, with steep straight grades, easy to exceed the 55 mph limit, even on cruise control the speed will approach 80 in the dips

460 from Pearisburg to Pembroke has 3 (Three) speed limit changes, including a 65 mph. It is intersting to note that most of the speed limit changes from the higher speed limit occur on a down hill section of road. I think the change of the speed limit from 55 mph for such a short section of road was not needed.
