If you are heading for the beach in Alabama you are going down this road. 59 South is taking you straight for the beach. When you hit a little town called Robertsdale the speed limit goes from 55 to 30 mph and the police sit all day long nabbing anyone going 31+. After Robertsdale it’s 55+ all the way to the beach. By the way, the minimum ticket cost in Robertsdale is $135.00. Be careful now!

After Robertsdale it is NOT 55+ all the way to the beach. Speed limits in Foley vary from 30 mph to 45 mph. Gulf Shores speed limit goes from 55 mph down to 35 mph. THEN you are at the beach. No where on that stretch is the speed limit EVER over 55 mph.
