60 Spur South to Blue Ridge
This stretch is constantly patrolled by unmarked NCHP. Speed limit is 55mph but its easy to go faster: no traffic and it’s a large 4 lane hwy.

I can attest to this sed trap. Comint up frm Georga on a sml two lan highway it opens up to a large four lane highway and one minute over the NC line I got pulled ove for going 70. Talk about a trap. NO other traffice on theoad and sis not eve see a 55mph sign. On the way back three days lter, guess what? I saw another NCHP car on a sign road shooting radar on the same stretch My ticket was $236. Highway robbery!!!!!
