when the high school nearby is out (about 2-3pm), probably 1-2x a month, SJPD motorcycle cops pull over in various streets between White and Ruby and officers are using LIDAR to detect your speed. many people that drive through the one-mile hill stretch tend to drive 45+. one day, i was going down aborn (40 zone) and at the townhouse place next to lucky’s, a motorcycle with sirens on came out and pulled over a car next to me, another cop has already stopped a vehicle at the other side of Aborn, and the third cop was still flashing his LIDAR gun, ready to catch a speeder. and so do yourself a favor and please slow down to about 35-40.
