San Jose, California Speed Traps
There’s a little nook just after the electronic sign that’s recessed enough for a patrol car to hide in. CHP uses it all the time as a speed trap. 37.263256, -121.977141 is the coordinates so you can punch it into Google Maps or whatever.
Cop pulling people over on E. Santa Clara St for speeding
Motorcyclist police officer in the shade of trees (difficult to see on sunny days) using laser speed gun. Standing on Vía Cordura, and pulling people over on Avenida Grande.
lidar catches you going downhill under an overpass for maximum effect. 2 cops to motion you over. All computerized, 5 minutes from motion to signature, I’ll bet they make 10 grand today. All this while violent crime is soaring in SJ.
Motor cops often go around and give people tickets for speeding in school zone (when there is not a single student around.) I just got a ticket last month, ridiculous.
