My wife and I have both gotten a ticket in the exact same spot on Buckner. The "officers" go up and down with their radar on and just hit whoever. It doesn’t matter if you are going 1 mile over or 20. My wife got her first ticket ever in Spring Hill on Buckner. She was doing a whole 4 miles over 40, which is stupid because it’s a highway and there are no houses near the road. She had never had a ticket, never been pulled over, never been involved in a wreck. The officer didn’t care and didn’t ask. He could have easily given her a warning, but warnings don’t help them make their ticket quota. The way the police operate should tell you something about this town. It’s nothing but a speed trap. We are leaving as soon as we are able and a large part of it is the police’s inability to do anything but write speeding tickets.
