It's interesting to read these comments concerning the City and how the Police have nothing else to do. As a resident, I'm GLAD they do what they do. This is a RESIDENTIAL area - the entire island, not just one street here or there. If this were YOUR residential neighborhood, you wouldn't appreciate people speeding along the block where you live....or where your children play. The speed limit in most residential areas is 25mph, and you can get from one side of this island to the other (in any direction) in 5-10 minutes. You come onto the island to use our beaches or work at North Island - learn to be a good neighbor and SLOW DOWN - you are driving through someone's home. Don't blame your bad behavior on over-funded Police who "have nothing better to do." BAD BEHAVIOR is bad behavior, even when no one is looking or you don't happen to get caught.
