Rosendale has Revenue Agents instead of police officers. Deprive this crooked "community" of the ill-gotten gains of their speed traps and it would whither away. Or better yet, they'd have to lay off their already underemployed "police force." This is one rotten apple of a town. Detour around it for your own good.

Avoid this little town. Horrible police!!!! I have been driving for over 30 years and have never gotten a ticket. I never speed. The officer pulls me over and the guy who is about three car lengths ahead of me over, says I was going 47 in a 30, he pulls me over in a 55 mile zone I had no clue why, there is no way I was that fast in that town. I said I can't believe it, I've never had a ticket I was behind someone else and two cars passed us because we were to slow!!! Apparently I accelerated before passing the 45 sign. He was really really not nice. I will never go through that town again, too bad for the businesses there. I hope the police are proud of themselves. I'll pay your 125.00 ticket because it's obvious your town is a scam and I'm not taking off work to risk some other issue I cannot control that you blame me for, but I'm telling all my friends never to go there ever and that there is nothing worth being set up by the police that's worth visiting there.

Went through Rosendale today cop pulled over car in front of me was going 35 just before the 45 speed . Came back from Berlin cop pulled another car over in town. What a asshole he is. There has got to be a way to get rid of the dirty cop that does this shit. Now I know why people do not trust them at all. Gives a bad name to the police dept.
