Apison Pike Road near Interstate 75
A major construction project on I-75 at the Ooltewah exit is diverting a great deal of traffic through the Ooltewah-Collegedale area. The Collegedale Police have set up several radar points and follow drivers closely looking for the slightest of infractions to warrant pulling a car over and will issue citations based upon minor infractions. I would advise motorist to avoid the Collegedale area entirely.
