Most definitely this is a speed trap. There Is no "reduce speed ahead" sign. Was ticketed There today (10/23/12) for doing 39mph. I am Definitely going to fight it. I plan on filing a class Action lawsuit against this town, rather then Let them ruin my perfect driving record. LA is A reasonable & prudent law state, and I was Driving both reasonably & prudently. This is A split LA state highway with 2 lanes in each direction. The town of Denham Springs will have to show why it's Prudent to reduce the speed limit to 25. And they have To provide motorists with amply notice of speed limit Reduction. I am looking for others who have been taken to Join me in suing this town. Others have sued other speed trap Town and have won their class action cases.
