the speed is 20 or 25 and they sit in parking lots and side streets on bellevue and it will cost you 100.00 because you are going 10 miles over the limit at 35 miles per hour

Yes, Bellevue Ave @ Clayton Road is DEFINITELY a speed trap.. I was driving what I thought to be very slow and the speed limit of 20mph on Thursday 7/31/14. I turn on Clayton Rd. and out of nowhere I see lights flashing and am pulled over just past St. Mary's Hospital. I was approached by a stern looking cop who demanded my name first, then my license. It was the strangest ordeal.. I have not had a ticket in 30+ years.. A warning could have been appropriate, as I live in South County and am not familiar with the area. As I said, I was barely moving... he comes back with the ticket, tells me to read the instructions, hands it to me and turns and leaves.. period!!! Yes, I was told it is a speed trap... they will grab you for 5 miles over.. too bad they don't have anything better to do except in the side parking lots of the Bellevue Medical Bldg.. the guy who pulled me over was extremely creepy... it treated me in a nasty manner... it's bodies like him who make the public dislike police officers... too bad..:(
