the speed is 20 or 25 and they sit in parking lots and side streets on bellevue and it will cost you 100.00 because you are going 10 miles over the limit at 35 miles per hour
Forest Park Expressway near US Highway
Officer sits on entrance ramp, before Forsyth exit, on Eastbound route. Because of conditions, it’s easy to get up to 55mph. The speed limit there used to be 45mph. They also sit on the Westbound side , near the Ritz.
McKnight Road near Ladue Road
Not sure how they catch you or where the point is but going north on McKnight Road down the hill towards Ladue they catch you. They will pull out of the driveway type thing across Ladue from McKnight and pull you over.
Old Bonhomme Road near Maryland Avenue
This is just around the corner from Companion Bread Co in the residential area just after Old Bonhomme crosses into Clayton from University City. The speed limit drops from 30mph to 25mph and there is a Clayton cop stationed here in the morning at least one day per week. Sometimes they leave an unmanned radar trailer instead of a police car and, occasionally, he is there at other times of the day.
Wydown Boulevard near Big Bend to Hanley Road
Clayton Police have a car, usually marked, parked somewhere along this stretch of Wydown. Common locations are at the entrance to Brentmoor, Carswold, among many other locations. Watch for the police car’s light bar…although they will use their "speed trap" car, which has its lights on the inside of the car.
