Black Hills Drive near US Highway 89A
Cottonwood Police Unit sits on one of the residential side street intersections with the radar aimed down Black Hills Drive, ostensibly to keep students from Yavapai Community college from speeding. They will stop anyone travelling over 30mph. Speed trap is limited to school hours, 7:30a-9:30p. This is the only area in Cottonwood city limits with targeted enforcement.

Black Hills Dr is in the town of Clarkdale, they do concentrate on Black Hills before and after school. I live just off Black Hills and it's rare to see the Clarkdale P.D. there. They usually only
have 1 or 2 officers on duty at a time, small dept. small town. No speed trap.

Sorry to disagree with the first comment but a portion of Black Hills Drive is in the City of Cottonwood. I do not know if Cottonwood PD does special enforcement there or not.
