The speed drops rapidly from 65 to 30 with some warning but hidden in the scrub. The policeman was polite, but failed to confirm the car we were driving, which belonged to our friends. He did not question them about the auto, only gave us the ticket. OH yes this is a speed trap.

We got a ticket for 40mph in a 30mph zone. This cop was setting on the east side of Byron under a tree facing west, at the city limits, approximately 200 yards from the 65 mph speed limit sign. Ticket cost: $110.00 This cop said it was the same cost in Byron as it was in Cheyenne, Wy. Because of this exorbitant fee, we did not get fishing licenses and gear in Wyoming. We left Wyoming without spending another cent and we will not be back. I hope this cop and mayor chokes on the $110.00.
I paid this greedy cop by credit card and then promptly reported my card stolen. It did not show up on my statement
