This is a heavily industrial area. On the 1 mile long stretch between 43rd ave and 51st ave there are no traffic lights or stops, so drivers tend to go 50-65mph in the posted 40 mph zone. Glendale and phx cops sit in industrial parking lots and pick off speeders. They are pulled back so you don’t know they are there until you’ve past them. A cop car gets them on radar and a motorcycle cop just down the road will pull them over. Enforcement seems to be 3 days in a row every couple of months.
