Cedar Rapids IA I-380 S

I have 0 accidents, and 0 speeding tickets in my 14 years of driving. I don’t speed, but I do move with the flow of traffic and am unfamiliar with the area. I recently moved to Marion when my job changed locations and I have received 3 traffic tickets in 3 weeks. Every single one of them was on a Saturday morning. I drive that route 6 days a week. Now I do know, I should know the speed limits better, driving it 6 days a week but I don’t. The whole town is new to me, including my hour drive to and from work. I’ve been driving the route for a month, and have picked up when traffic slows and speeds back up. I always got in with the flow. Today I received my 3rd one, and I can’t stay quiet anymore. I don’t need to live here, I could move closer to work. I don’t need to stop for fuel and do my shopping in this town, and do my part to keep community dollars rolling. I am all for speed control in problematic areas but 3 in 3 weeks all around the same days is fishy to me. I have now chosen to take a different route, and am no longer making my morning stop for fuel and breakfast in Cedar Rapids These cameras are organized crime. It’s no different than a police officer sitting outside of a bar, waiting to give someone a public intox as they walk out the door. The camera’s are perfectly placed to the city’s benefit.

Comments:
Yes, this is a trap. I am very confident that as I was not driving over 55. We were looking for a place to eat and using the GPS. Speed on my GPS matches the speedometer. Unless passing we don't exceed the speed limit by more than 3 mph. I've been through Cedar rapids before but never left the expressway. I will be leading another group that way again; we will not stop to eat or get gas though. Either the camera is not properly calibrated, or they adjusted the speed at the collection office.
