Cedar Street near Grand River Avenue
The Motorcycle Police of the City of Lansing will often sit on a side street or in a parking lot at the bottom of a hill on Cedar St. just before Grand River Ave. and shoot the southbound traffic on Cedar Street. This is a 40 mile an hour speed zone and the traffic will be coming down an overpass on Cedar and it is easy for the speed to increase to 50 mph if you’re not paying attention and breaking. I have winessed many folks being pulled over in this area.
