The Chatham Golf and Fun center may be a good spot for a speed trap but I think sitting back in on Silvania Dr. would be better. Usually as soon as many people get through the lights at Indian Creek Rd., they tend to pick up speed. Many drivers just fly by us while we are in that stretch. W

They also sit on the corner of English Sideroad & Charing Cross Rd. We live across the street & especially in the summer they are pulling people over one after the other. It is a four lane road & the speed limit goes from 50 to 80.

Poster says pathetic, but really, people do fly through that area, and there are a lot of homes, and there are no sidewalks, so pedestrian traffic is either on or very near the road. it is tough not to speed there, as it is four lanes. But you always CKPD out there and catching people.

The 50km zone does not start until the south side of the Golf N Fun Centre (across from Ontario Hydro). Good on CKPS for enforcing this area strictly (especially in golfing times). There is a mini-putt there that attracts lots of kids, ice cream used to be at front, have since changed it to inside due to speed of vehicles. Also seeing police in area deters golfers from drinking too much. Keep us safe and hammer that area CKPS. Thank you. An Avid Bad Golfer
