North & South bound Clark st. between Wardlow and Carson. Clark is a wide road with golf course on west side with residential on east side. The flow (or propensity) is to exceed the posted limit (40 MPH) especially if the traffic is light and it is easy to be cruising along at 50+ on this street anywhere between Carson and the 405 (San Diego)freeway. While the speed limit is seemingly unrealistic you can count on enforcement nonetheless. Got caught at 50+ in early morning hours of darkness with no traffic (about 4:30 AM on a weekend!) Radar cop was near fire station and along with advantage of darkness may have been partially hidden behind a hedge as well.
