Coming into Warwick from the west side.
Coming into the little hamlett of Warwick, Georgia, in a curve (on Ga. Hwy 300), the speed limit shows 65, until you are in the curve, at the city limits.. In the curve, the speed limit drops to 55, with 2 signs within 100 feet of each other. Another 300 feet into the curve is two more signs (within 100 feet of each other), showing 45 speed limit. Then, which is against Ga. law (I found out too late) there is a city police within 400 feet of the last posted limit sign. He sits in the median, radar pointed westbound, waiting for everybody coming out of the curve. Atlanta Journa/Constitution reported that the city (of 419 residents) has collected$1,295,140 in fines from 2008 to 2012. That’s $3,113 per resident of the town. Outrageous.. & the trend continues through 2014.. The mess should be stopped by now, by the Ga. State Patrol.. But, NO.. They let it go on.
