At the intersection of Del Amo Boulevard and Long Beach Boulevard, motorcycle officers hide in restaurant or gas station driveways and wait for drivers. The infraction is usually referred to as "failure to yield" although there is no need to yield, the intersecton is rife with traffic lights. The bike will run without headlights and the siren will turn on suddenly behind the driver with sirens going, scaring the driver half to death.
