On East Lake Sammamish Pkwy, between Redmond Way and Inglewood Hill Road NE, Sammamish PD likes to sit in unlit driveways on the East side of the road. Late at night you can hardly see them. I’ve seen them use instant-on Ka and/or always-on K band radar.

The police are not there all the time, but the speed limit is 35mph, and late at night, you usually can’t resist going 45 or 50, especially when there is nobody around on the road…
