Eastbound H-1 cut over by Middle St just before the tunnel
At night in the grass area just before the tunnel HPD will have an officer behind the sign that says "Pali Hwy 2 1/2 Miles". If it’s a black low sitting type car like a Camaro you’ll never see it until it’s too late. The speed limit from the H-1 to the cut over is 35MPH

They are definitely there. Watch your speed as you enter the lanes of the H-1 viaduct going thru the Middle St. tunnel linking you back to Moanalua freeway. Where the viaduct splits with lanes going down to Nimitz Hwy. and lanes going thru the Middle St. tunnel, speed limit in those lanes are 35 mph. On the lanes heading thru the Middle St tunnel, HPD will be right around the wide left hand bend before the tunnel. They are there any day of the week especially at night from around 8 pm to the early morning and between 4 am to 6 am during morning rush hour.
