Elton Adelphia Road (CR 524) near Freehold Twp High School

Freehold, New JerseyFeb 01, 20103 Comments

Around 2:45 to 3:30, township police will sparingly set up a trap to catch high school seniors for having more than one other passenger, for speeding, or for not wearing seatbelts. Police stand on either side of the road and usually only catch motorists traveling east towards U.S. Hwy 9. They will chase with motorcycles and unmarked cars. Speed Limit is 45, but around 2 PM, changes to 30 (school zones).

Comments:
They are directing traffic letting the buses out. NO enforcement there.

As a student of the local high school, I know for a fact that when school lets out, there is at least one unmarked leo sitting either at the entrance to FTHS closer to US 9, or in the Errickson parking lot. I live across the street from that intersection. I see it everday.

There is a marked policeman directing traffic at the entrance closer to Georgia Rd, but at the other entrance there is at least 1 policeman there almost daily.
